From the days of the legendary Bothy Band to his current work with Patrick Street, and with twenty-four albums to his credit, Kevin Burke has defined Irish fiddling for a generation. Simply put, he is one of the finest, most influential players in music today. As a guest artist, his work with those as disparate as Kate Bush, Arlo Guthrie and Christy Moore has given him an audience that not only spans continents, but defies attempts at categorization.

A former member of Scotland's Battlefield Band and a founding member of England's top folk quartet, the House Band, Ged Foley currently performs in the Irish super group, Patrick Street. At the same time, Ged has rapidly become known as a skillful accompanist and also as a clinician at Irish music workshops throughout the United States and Europe.

House Concerts at Glenbrook are held at Thom and Jan McCain's home in Clintonville. We have space for 50 people in our livingroom. Send a check in advance to guarantee a seat. Send an email to thom@mccainlimited to make a reservation and be added to our mailing list. We're at 146 Glenmont Ave. 614-268-6189. Bring a drink or snack to share. There will be an informal session following the concert, so bring your instrument. At our house concerts the musicians get all the money and we all get front row seats.
