Hilda Doyle and her daughters, Stephanie Doyle Kephart and Heather Doyle Fraser have teamed up to provide a rich and harmonious Celtic sound. They are joined by two other great musicians, Molly Paulken on bass and Liz Mueller (of Vinegar Hill) on fiddle. They move easily between traditional Irish songs that have their own "Longford" sound and original compositions. They sing together, sometimes acappella, sometimes full tilt with powerful playing. Sometimes they sing in Gaelic; sometimes there is harmony, sometimes solos and sometimes smaller ensembles. They have wonderful variety, and a spectacular connection with the audience.
